Frankie & Johnny in the Clair de Lune

Michael Shannon and Audra McDonald star in this intimate portrayal of courtship in a crowded city by Terrence McNally. The are two people past thier primes trying to figure out exactly what they want in their relationship. Together they shed their clothes and inhibitions, breaking themselves down and putting themselves back together and nourishing their emotions and hunger for more.

This is a beautifully presented show that pulls you into to Frankie’s tiny New York Apartment and lets you voyeur as they do to other neighbors. I absolutely loved the acting and staging. It quite possibly is the most beautiful show on Broadway.

Quick take - Breakfast At Tiffany's on Broadway

Just Saw the new production of Breakfast at Tiffany's on Broadway based on the novel by Truman Capote.  This production stars Emilia Clarke of "Game of Thrones" fame as Holly Golightly.

First act, long.   Ms. Clarke, alluring yet evokes a charming innocence.  Holly, more geisha than call girl.  Fred (Narrator), is he Truman Capote?  Darker than the movie.

I need a drink.
